Since February 2021, a military coup has descended on Myanmar. This has severely impacted healthcare professionals and the delivery of healthcare to the general public. Coupled with this, COVID-19 infection rates have presented additional burdens on the ability to provide safe healthcare with adequate resources and staff.
We continue to remain in contact with our partners in Myanmar and aim to continue to provide support during these difficult times, however possible. Now, more than ever, we need your support and are incredible grateful for whatever you can do.
