Brighter Future Foundation

Following an initial assessment visit in May 2014, Brighter Future Foundation has now finsihed the first phase of refurbishment of CSL in UM1. The refurbishment work included painting, fixation of aluminium door frame, two standing air-conditioners and room division. Further work will include the purchase of standing room dividers, storage racks and installation of workbenches on which skills will be performed. Our BFF volunteer Mr. Barry Smith who is the lead manager at Clinical Skill Department, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been providing "Training the Trainers" group sessions over five days to the clinical lecturers from all medical universities. We thank the University of Medicine 1, Yangon and Prof. U Zaw Wai Soe for collaborating with us and continued support on smooth running of training courses.
