Brighter Future Foundation

The sun was shining. Temperature was moderate around 18C. There was enchanting Thingyan music to which dainty damsels danced along. It was wonderful to see old friends and to make new ones too. We could not have asked for more! More than 250 people joined us today and together, we raised £4978.50 (Donations: £1360, Entry fees: £495, Food sales:£3123.50) which will be used for much needed healthcare projects in Myanmar. All in all, we had another successful and enjoyable Thingyan event which we will always remember in many years to come. We wish all our Burmese friends and families a very Happy & Peaceful New Year.
